Fashion Studio Kit Amazing!
Comments about Product: I bought this as a gift for my niece who is into fashion and loves creating things. She absolutely loved it and spent hours making clothes. My daughter (who is the same age) said "Can I have one for MY birthday?"
Comments about Product: My 8 yr old grand daughter needed help with the 1st design and basic techniques. After that she has been creating designs for the last 5 months. She became so entralled with fashion design, I added additional fabric and assessories for her to try. The mannequin is very well made. She now is looking at magazines; critizing designers and adding her own creative ideas to theirs. This is the best gift I have ever given her.
Comments about Product: My daughter had hours of fun exploring the ways to embellish the enclosed dress. The fabrics and trims were interesting to play with. Good for beginning sewing, to teach hand stitching. The booklet contained a number of design ideas. HOWEVER, the finished products, if using the dress form to create them, only fit the dress form.. In other words, if you are looking to make clothing for Barbies, the form is much bigger. If you are looking to make clothes for American Girl dolls, the dress form is much SMALLER.
Comments about Product: I tried to put them in the wrong place. The kit came with just enough glitter to make my granddaughter take a real interest in it. She will be taking a beginning sewing class this summer. She is ten and the product is still a little too fine for not too nimble fifngers.
