Comments about Product: My teenage daughter was so excited to buy these for her nephew. When they arrived they looked pretty cool, but just before wrapping and shipping them we decided to give them a try.
First flaw the air pumping system was a little unclear and difficult for the suggested age, it wasn't even clear which hole to stick the hose into. And it was hard to do those 40 pumps of air, yes forty.
Second flaw, and the really big one, they are super slow, when they actually move that is. We tried out one, pumped it up and it crawled at a snails pace down our hallway. When we picked it up the wheels spun like crazy though,, turbo speed you might say. Thinking the highly waxed wood floors weren't the right surface we tried it on the unfinished deck floors, the carpet, the oriental rug,the vinyl kitchen floor and the paved driveway. Not only was it super slow everywhere, it didn't even move on the carpet, the rug or the rough parts of the driveway! Thinking that first car was just a dud we pulled the other one out, same results! We sent both cars back weeks ago and only just now recieved the refund.
Comments about Product: I love that this toy doesn't use batteries, but the problem is that the directions recommend the car be pumped 40 times. This is increasingly difficult for an adult, much less the strength (and attention span) of a child. Even when operated as instructed, the car just doesn't go. (Attempted on a hard, even surface.) Manufacturers: Please try perhaps making the frame lighter and using an accumulator that is more like a bladder that has larger volume (easier to pump).
