Our family and my daycare kids love these! My only complaint is that I wish they were made out of plastic. 2 of the base pieces broke the first time we used them. I have a lot of the connectagons including the tree one and had to order a replacement because it broke as well. Other than that we love them and have hours of fun with them!

My 4 year old son loves this! We purchased this toy as a Christmas present. He loves seeing how high he can build it, organizing the colors, and that there is no wrong way to put it together. Also if his baby brother knocks it over we just start again. I love that it helps his hand eye coordination and builds strength in his hands that will helping his writing skills. His teachers suggested models or sculpture activities. This is both. I also have a blast doing it with him which is a bonus. The colors and art work on the pieces are even better in person. Beautiful.

Very creative based toy. My children are 8 and 6 years old, and they love to see how many different shapes, designs, and sculptures they can make with the Connectagons. We have the "Under the Sea" set which came with the storage bag, so clean-up and storage are a breeze! The colors on the pieces are bright, and the pieces are very solid. Excellent choice! Breaks easily

The supports that make the structure stand up are very poorly made. They break very easily and then you don't have anything to build the structure on. Very disappointed.

Hard to keep designs organized in box

I bought this for my 4 year old granddaugher. She is a little too young to put it together. She broke a ccuple of pieces by twitsting too hard. I put it away and will give it to her again when she is a little older.

My best friend son plays with this set occasionally. It does encourage creativity, however, it doesn't come with a ton of pieces, so I would recommend buying two or three sets, or the larger set.

Hard to Manipulate

This toy has beautiful colors and is inviting. As a preschool teacher for 4 year olds, this product broke after the first use as the children were cleaning them up. They are hard to push together and stick while taking them apart therefore, became unsafe when a piece broke due to the fact it is made of wood. It was sharp and children could get splinters or cut.

Creative Hook into the Ocean Realm

My son instantly created an ocean environment that expanded into different ecosystems. He was able to adapt and change the creations easily. It was easy to share the pieces with his friends. They also thought 'outside of the box' and created non-ocean beings. I love the colors and variety of shapes that allow for a wide range of designs. Little kids can also use this along side of the older kids, a function that is wonderful for families.

I saw this product at my grandchilds school and bought it for all my grandchildren. I sent 3 to England and they've asked for more as the chidren can play happily in their own little world making the shapes.The quality of the pieces is excellent and survives toddlers interference too. My daughters in law were impressed and have asked me to look out for more fun but educational toys.

I thought this was going to be plastic. It's cardboard and the base breaks easily. I imagine if it were to get wet, it would be worthless. Otherwise, it's an exciting toy for the imagination. Is 'not' durable however.

My four year old daughter and I love playing with this toy. My only drawback it that the base pieces used to build the structures on are thin, weak and flimsey. Several have broken (and they do not glue or tape back together again well!) They need to be made out of thicker wood to be stronger!

Three of the large base pieces broke the first time my four-year-old son played with these. The narrow areas on those bases are so weak because the wood is so thin, they don't hold up. He was really disappointed. My 6 year old daughter and he played once or twice, but they didn't hold much interest. I think they look great, but for us these have been kind of a dud. Whenever I suggest them to my kids they say, "nah"

Like all of the connectagons, these are so much fun! Our whole family has a blast configuring them into different underwater scenes. They are high quality and hold everyone's attention. My only gripe is that they don't all fit back into the box. That makes clean-up a little messy since there are a lot of pieces. But, this is certainly not a big enough deal to stop you from buying them. Enjoy!
