Now your kids can enjoy a rousing game of tetherball in your backyard with regulation equipment that's as safe and sturdy as the school's. They can concentrate on batting the ball - put their whole heart into it - without worrying about knocking the pole over. It makes a big difference. Easy to set up, the institutional-quality, galvanized steel poles fit together with push-button ease; then plant right into the ground (ground sleeve included) where they'll last a long time. This game also includes a heavy-duty swivel attachment, an authentic ball, and a pump - so let the fun begin! Needle to pump up the ball is located in the handle of the pump. Sorry, gift wrap not available.

Comments about Product: The description in the catalog never mentions that the pole must be set in concrete. Didn't find out until the product arrived.
Comments about Product: Imagine my surprise on Christmas morning when opening this tetherball set to put in our yard that we needed 50 pounds of concrete!! No where in this product description does it say that you need to dig a very large hole and fill with 50 pounds of concrete. In fact, in the description it says easy to set up and just plant into the ground. No store was open on Christmas day so our scheduled Christmas Day game did not happen, which did lead to some very sad children, as this was a gift we planned on using that day.
Comments about Product: Occasionally with a hard hit the ball/rope become detached from the pole and go flying.
Glad I purchased for my yard for when the grandkids come to visit. It was well used this week by 3rd and 4th grade boys.
Comments about Product: We hold all our extended family reunions at our house (usually at least 4 a year) and I try to add something new each year for the "young" ones. The addition of the tetherball was a big hit!!
Comments about Product: This was a little more difficult to install than I expected but well worth the trouble. The eyebolt that holds the ball came out of the pole and I had to improvise to get it reattached. Otherwise a great game.
