The 10 beans were easy to plant. Only 2 of the 10 actually grew. The 2 grew fast and then died. We are crop farmers so we have an idea about growing crops.

cute idea if you have a green thumb

Dinos on the beans were nifty, but we managed to kill all but two, apparently with overwatering. To be fair, the instructions warned the most likely cause of failure would be rotting in the cup due to too much water.

Great start to growing a dinosaur!

I loved the connection of life cycles of plants and a child's passion for dinosaurs. She watched the majic of a plant growing with the bonus of her interest in dinosaurs. A little disappointed that no dinosaur grew....
