We loved these balls but they ripped out immediately! I have two girls ages 9 and 6. They aren't real hard on things, and expected the girls to have hours of indoor fun all winter and beyond. Our 3 year old cousin got to play, and we had so many laughs....unfortunately, we had very disappointed girls when the seams started ripping out after a couple hours of on and off play! We called the company and they said to mail them back for catalog credit...they sent a shipping label for us...that was in January....we never received anything. I called again today and they said they would resend. Hope we receive it soon. We appreciate the willingness to totally replace this!

I bought two of these and the first one was split at the seam so I called and they are sending a replacement. My son played with the other one and now that is deflating too. Very disappointed as it is too much to pay for a day or two of play. They need to be made of sturdier material - seems like it would be so much fun if they stayed inflated!

The kids had a blast with these (I bought 2) and thankfully I got a lot of the fun on video, as before long a tear in the seam began on both balls. After a few days of play, the balls were rendered useless. Disappointed kids:(

The picture of these 'bashings' balls looked like great fun. We bought two for our 8 and 6 year old boys at Christmas (2012.) They played with them just two times. Then, one of the balls split on the seam in two different places. It is now unusable. I was expecting the product to withstand two average little boys for the price one must pay just for ONE ball. Anyway, although I really do enjoy looking through Hearthsong's catalog at all of the different toys, I will now think twice before ordering from them again.

This is a great product until a hole develops, then it is very hard to fix. Unfortunately, two sections developed holes during our first use.

My son wanted two Bumper Balls for christmas after seeing the adorable pictures in the catalog.After 30 minutes of 2 five year olds bumping and bopping outside on the grass, seams in both balls opened and deflated. The balls do come with a patch kit but these opening are large and it is difficult to patch. These balls are a fun idea but a complete waste of money.

I bought this for my boys for Christmas 2012. They had so much fun with them until the seams started to rip which caused the "bubbles" to tear which caused it to deflate. You can't really repair that with the kit they gave you. So.. if you can spare $70 for a days worth of fun then go for it.

I bought two bounce buddies, one for a boy and one for his sister for Christmas. They have had more fun than you can imagine. The middle is actually large enough that the little girl can sit inside it so is a cozy little spot to be in. The best gift ever for kids.
