Ready, aim, howl! Howler monkeys are the loudest animals on earth, except for blue whales. This masked, cloaked monkey is not, technically, a howler monkey, but it is probably the loudest toy monkey on earth.
Slip your fingertips into its little mitts, pull back like a slingshot, let fly, and join in the laughter when the furry projectile screeches through the air. So much fun we offer a set of three with black, blue, and red capes.
Comments about Product: My son, Sid, loves his monkeys. On his birthday, we opened the box and it took a moment to find the way to activate the noise. He had shot one monkey through the house, then another sibling shot one off with the noise activated. The screeching is the best part. When Sid went to be that night, all tucked in he said, "But Mom, I didn't get to fly a screaming monkey." I let him know that was totally unacceptable. We got promptly out of bed and shot off a screaming monkey. It was his largest smile of the day.
Comments about Product: The monkeys fly pretty good and the noise is pretty real. Finger holds should be larger. Young kids bend their fingers and the monkey drops to the floor so it will take alot of practice for them to keep fingers straight for the monkey to fly. They get discouraged More for an 8 year old on up. Service was great and fast.
Comments about Product: Dear grandma and grandpa,
Thank you for the flying monkeys. I like the flying monkeys because they are fun to fly and they make these crazy funny sounds.
Comments about Product: I bought these for Christmas and didn't realize that they make a LOUD screeching monkey sound. They don't shut off so every time you shoot it it screeches.
Comments about Product: These monkeys are great fun to play with but you should have seen the look of terror on the child's face who pulled the tail off the monkey on his first pull. After reassuring the child that they hadn't hurt the monkey, we continued on by pulling on the legs so all is not lost and the fun continues!!!
Comments about Product: My grandchildren are still playing and enjoying every minute, they are still performing when the children send them off. An excellent enjoyment for all. Thank you
Comments about Product: I bought these for my grandson's birthday party, which I thought might be a bit dull with far more adult family members than kids. These really livened things up. Just about everyone felt compelled to shoot a monkey across the room and the flying, howling monkeys got everyone involved and laughing. The birthday boy's sister asked me later if she could have monkeys for HER birthday party, and an adult guest volunteered that I should win the prize for the best birthday gift!
Comments about Product: I bought the Flingshot Monkeys as Easter gifts for my nephew (9) and neices (14 and 17). Every time they flew, the room erupted in laughter. I'm sure I'll be buying more for the adult "kids" in my life.
Comments about Product: I bought these as a Christmas gift for my 5 year-old nephew. He absolutely loves them!! Actually, the whole extended family had fun playing with them on Christmas Eve after the gifts were opened.
Some "little fingers" had a bit of difficulty actually using the "fling shot" feature, but they just "tossed" them instead.
Comments about Product: The 4 year olds didn't have the patience to learn to fling the monkeys but the dads had a great time. Maybe in a few years they'll all join in! I thought it was a good value when I received 3 for that price.
Comments about Product: What a hoot, what a great noise this monkey makes. We really had a good time driving the ho-hum adults nuts. Hooray for being a crazy aunt. I just wish the finger holder was a little bigger to fit big peoples fingers better.
Comments about Product: This toy allowed the two boys (5 & 6) to play with the 3-year-old girl, who always wants to be part of the action. Everyone could do this - no problem.
Comments about Product: Grandkids - boys and girls - ages 5 to 13 had a ball with these guys. Much more fun than the fleece and books that they usually get from Grandma!
Comments about Product: At first the kids did not see that they have to insert their fingers in the monkeys hand,in order to make it fly.
They used these on "ELLEN" and the adults didn't see that either.
If used indoors they are soft enough to land lightly on furniture etc.
Comments about Product: Stocking stuffer for older kid who loves monkeys and loves launching things. Had to sew it back together after use, and not sure it will ever work again. Used it less than a week before it fell apart.
Comments about Product: The kids loved them and the adults kept wanting to play with them, also. They are very durable and easy to sail. The howl is great. A very unique toy.
Comments about Product: gave them to my 3 teenage grandchildren(ages 13, 15, & 17) for Christmas. They had a blast! Monkeys would suddenly come flying at you when you least expected it that day and for weeks afterwards. Only mistake I made was not getting some for the kids' Dads also!
Comments about Product: Open House on Christmas Eve, got 16 of them for young guests - no fun to be at a Christmas party without a gift! Parents said I lost my mind - BUT the kids think I'm the coolest! Monkeys flying & screaming everywhere, upstairs, downstairs, front porch, driveway! I've recommended them to everyone at my office who'll listen!
Comments about Product: My kids are 2, 4, and 5. They can use the monkey by improvising. Their hands are either not big enough or strong enough to use it as shown. Once the monkey is flying around the belly laughs abound. My 2 year old keeps saying, 'Again, mommy again!'. Good stocking stuffer, good fun, would recommend.
Comments about Product: The entire family enjoyed shooting the Monkeys across the room and listening to them scream when they first arrived. Unfortunately, two of the Monkeys lost hands (neccessary to shoot the Monkeys) within a week. We were using the product as directed, so I was very disappointed in the lack of quality and durability.
Comments about Product: For Christmas Santa brought all six of the kids in our family Flingshot Monkeys. Once the kids got the hang of it you felt like you were in the monkey gym at the zoo! One flew this way, another that way, then two came out from no where!! Where were they all coming from? They had so much fun playing with these monkeys. Every time the monkeys got going you could hear six kids giggling wildly. They could have cared less that there was a room full of gifts just through the other door. The only con (from a parent's perspective) is that the monkey sounds do tend to get on the nerves after a little bit. But the kids were "ape" for them!!
Comments about Product: I bought a bunch of these monkeys for grandkid stocking stuffers. They are quite inexpensive for the fun factor they provide. The ages were from 5 to 10. The adults took them over!!
Comments about Product: Bought this for our 2 year old niece and she loved them, but couldn't do it herself. She loved to watch them fly and ran after them squealing. It would be nice if they were more cuddlie and easier to sling for tiny hands. But overall it was great fun for everyone involved....
Comments about Product: Monkeys were Christmas gifts, so we played inside. They have just been revived and kids are having great fun outdoors with them.
Comments about Product: Older kids love it, try to see who can shoot theirs the furthest. Loved it playing with cats, they chase it even try to catch it in the air.
Mask comes off easily -- so best to remove it before playing.
Comments about Product: I gave these monkeys to both boys and girls are they all loved them! They were the hit of the party! They fly well and make a wonderful monkey-in-the-jungle sound!
Comments about Product: I gave these to my three grand-nephews (twin 5-year-olds and a 7 year-old). They couldn't get the hang of it at first but once they did, they LOVED them. So be patient.
Comments about Product: Let the monkey do your screaming, increase hand-eye coordination by aiming for targets, have a small, furry and amusing companion that is easy to carry.
Little kids may have trouble getting fingers into right places to make monkey fly.
Comments about Product: This was my second set of them Molly age 4-5 loves them as do all her friends (which is why we needed more-they walked off). He dad and other grownups (including her 80 year old gma) also loves playing with them, Great value for the price and last along while Love them
Comments about Product: One of the set of three went to a co worker who runs children/teen grief groups. Great for lightening the mood.
Another went to a nephew who was actually a flying monkey in the school play!
The last I kept just for fun!
Comments about Product: We just love it. I ordered them for our grandkids ages 5 -10 also our married kids with no kids of their own ages 28 - 30. I think the adults probably have more fun than the young kids. We like sneaking up and scaring each other. Planning attacks etc.
Comments about Product: The monkeys were loved by my son in law...but they were purchased for our grandchildren! The kids were great, giving him a turn! We would walk in the house and the howlers would fly by!They were recommended to me by a teacher friend and she is always right about gifts!!!
Comments about Product: My son purchased these for himself and his 2 best friends. They love flying them about the house, competing to see who can get their monkey to fly higher or farther. I don't think I realized they make a screeching monkey noise when they hit something--which I find annoying--but the noise causes my son to laugh out loud almost every time so it must be a good thing!
Comments about Product: Family get together had races with the monkeys. Who went the longest and highest. lots of grandchildren and they all enjoyed them. They didn't fall apart after pretty rough handling. They were a little difficult to use for the 5 year old but they just held the hands and pulled the tail and off the monkey went.
Comments about Product: I set these monkeys on the top of each Christmas stocking & they were the first item "opened" Christmas morning. They brought laughter & fun as we had 3 of them flying every which way across the room & didn't go for another present for quite a while! Great gift!
Comments about Product: My grandsons had fun playing with these. They emit a very satisfying scream when they land. But they were difficult (even for adults) to launch as slingshots, so the boys mostly threw them through the air.
Comments about Product: I bought flying monkeys as Christmas gifts for all my nieces and nephews (ages 6 to 17) and WHEW!!! What a blast on Christmas morning! The little kids thought they were cute and cuddly. The big kids and teens ran around chasing each other in a wild game of "Monkey Tag." Just for fun, I used fabric paint to put nicknames on the capes. What a hoot! Though I usually spend extended family time trying to pry one of my kin away from the video games long enough to engage in a conversation... these got everyone playing. I only wish that I had bought some for the grown-ups as well. We all could have used a little more monkey-time.
Comments about Product: These were wonderful stocking stuffers. The launching mechanism requires coordination that most small children (say under 7) don't have, though the monkeys will screech even when simply thrown.
Comments about Product: Although this toy is really fun and clever, the "screech" that comes from it is very, very loud. Worst of all, there is no way to turn it off while it is "screeching" nor to prevent it from "screeching" while you play. Like most kids, mine have left these things on the floor; one toe in the middle of the night and this thing is waking up the whole house! Fun when in use, but keep them packed away while not played with!
Comments about Product: We got them as Easter basket stuffers for the older kids. Parents kept taking them and reenacted the scene from Wizard of Oz with the monkeys attacking. No one was safe, it was great fun.
Comments about Product: These are some of the BEST toys you will ever give, get or play with. Open the box and watch the fun and the monkeys fly. Everyone in the room wants to play with screaming flying monkeys. Dads are especially intrigued with these furry guys, and if you have a dog or cat in the middle of all this, well, let's just say hilarity ensues. At work, they provide a quick break and bring a few minutes of fun to the day. In a college dorm, they are delightful ways to surprise and amuse. They can fly a good long distance; up to about 40 feet!
Comments about Product: Each monkey in the set went to a different child, and each got its own name. The fact that they can fly makes them kind of like super heroes to the kids and the monkeys' names reflect their powers.
The only negative is that they are really noisy, which the kids don't mind. I just make sure they stay in their room with them with the door shut so I can't hear them so well. Also, luckily some of their screamers have broken so I don't have to worry about them anymore.
Comments about Product: This item was a stocking stuffer for grandsons ages 6 to 12 years of age. Fun, noisy toys flying through the air makes for a hilarious time.
