Comments about HearthSong Plasma Ball:
My second grade son LOVED this item! He even took it to his class for show-n-tell, and his classmates were mesmerized! That is until someone tripped on the cord and it fell to the floor and broke! He was heartbroken, so I'll be ordering another one. Great item, just watch that cord!!
This product is surprisingly sturdy

My sons really enjoy it. So far it hasn't broken and we have dropped it multiple times. My 10-year old son says: "I like it because it is just cool to look at."

About Me Grandparent
I left it in the room where my 9 year old grand-daughter stayed while I was in the hospital so I do not know how she liked it but my son indicated that she had fun with it. I know that I was intrigued with it and had fun when I set it up. I don't think it will stand a lot of handling as the switch isn't that reliable. I had fun with it.

Our six year old saved his $ for this one and it was a great reward. He has many scientific discoveries and imaginative stories with this plasma ball. He would rate it a 5.

My son and other children who see it are mesmerized. They all want to touch it and understand why it works. I don't know myself, so it's a wonderful mystery.
