Got this game for my son-in-law for Christmas. He and my daughter are big board gamers, since they've had a 'No TV' pact since the wedding (yeah, pretty cool). He is also a doctoral candidate in math, and she's an artist. So finding a game that will meet their various standards is a challenge. This one caught my eye for some reason. Do not be fooled by the six and up designation. While a young child can easily catch on to this game, it is colorful and graphic, and is a challenging, mental game as well, and will easily satisfy adults. Fun, easy to learn, and we played three times the first night, and are seriously thinking of buying another set to make the game more elaborate. Figure on about 45 minutes per round. Definitely recommended.

We are on our second game. We used the first one so often that the paint wore off the tiles (which is my ONLY complaint about Qwirkle). We love it! We've given sets to our children/grandchildren and they're hooked on it, too. Great concept, great game, lots of fun and an easy way to teach strategic play to kids.

Qwirkle is a funny name for a fun game! Colorful, sturdy pieces provide visual and intellectual stimulation. The concept is easy enough for a 3-year-old to master, and just challenging enough to make it strategic for us "over-3" types. We use it as a great rainy day alternative to puzzles and board games. The only downside is the odor of the game pieces, sort of a piney, shellac-type smell. So those with strong sensitivities to smell might want to choose something else.

I loved this game. I had a great time playing it with my family. I am not sure if a six year old could play it, but the 46 year olds were gettting pretty cutthroat!!

I couldn't wait to buy this game, since it's so comparable to Scrabble (my favorite game of all time), and am so glad I did! We absolutely LOVE IT! Great mind challenging game, for sure. However, the one problem I have with it is that it should have come with wooden trays, as in Scrabble, in order to stand your tiles up and hide them from other players.Otherwise...perfect!

My mother loves games and art. She grew up playing games with her family all the time. She particularly loves Dominoes and Scrabble and coloring mandalas. Now that Parkinson's is taking a toll on her short-term memory, I thought Quirkle might be a good alternative for her. We played it Christmas Day and she loved it; asked to play again before she went to bed.

This game is for ages 6 through adult. It's a great way for children, parents and grandparents to bond. There aren't many games that cover such a large age span and are fun for everyone.

Our whole family enjoys this game. It has a different twist than dominoes, so we had to learn the rules, but once we learned how to play it was fun for everyone. My 5 year old loved it, all the way up to her Grandma who is 65!

Played like dominos or uno, even young kids can learn to match colors and/or shapes. This is a game everyone can enjoy.

This is a game my 4 year old granddaughter can play along with adults - lots of fun - helps children to learn colors, shapes while they are playing.

At Christmas, my family played this game together. Ages 6-60 enjoyed it equally well. How many games can claim that? It will get a lot of use in our home, and it is made to withstand that use. A great choice!
