Great for Beginners!
Comments about Product: I (an adult) purchased this loom for myself to begin to learn the basics of weaving. I found it to be very helpful for my first few weavings, and a fun tool for a quick weave. It is very small, so one shouldn't expect much of a masterpiece - however it is great for learning the basics, trying out new techniques, and I'm sure it could keep a child entertained very well :)
Comments about Product: My son, age 9, wanted to weave but not with potholder loops. I got him this loom and strung the warp for him before leaving on a road trip. The colors that are included are perfect for a boy, and I love the quality wool yarn. Everything fit in the box and by the end of the trip he had a complete piece. By folding it in half and whipstitching the three sides he was able to complete a potholder. I've given him my extra wool yarn so he can make more. Unlike a potholder loom, parents might need to help with starting and finishing.
