        The manual is worthless. The components do not assemble cleanly. Despite the images, the tree house comes with no animals or people. When assembled, the wooden parts easily separate (even when glued) due to the poor design. Would not buy again.

        I really wish that there would be a listing of what is included with the [$] set, since Hearth Song used to sell add on accessory sets for this tree house. This makes it difficult to know what is really included in the set. I went and bought it after being told on the phone that everything was included only to be told by email that not everything is included with the [$] set. It's very confusing, so the description should be updated, since it is a pretty big investment. I'll have to go out and buy more accessories now. :-(

          Let me start by saying that I am sure my three year old son will LOVE this toy when I have it all ready to go.

          That being said...

          I just spent almost two hours putting this together and then I remembered the second box. My main trouble came from the fact that the screws would not all screw in tight despite using an electric screwdriver. Two out of three of the platforms are wobbly and I really can't do anything to fix that. Also, I would have appreciated a better instruction manual. I think more pictures or just better explanations would have been helpful.

          I am going to see if I can find someone to help me tighten up the screws or figure out some kind of retrofit to make the platforms more stable.

          Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

            Both my boys and girls enjoy playing with this tree house, just with different dolls. This tree houseis fun, especially since my children have limitless imagination!
