This is a fantastic price and assortment on a starter kit for the very popular Kumihimo braiding craze fiber artists have been popularizing. I am purchasing one to beef up my stock! My only complaint about this kit is that it could use some bobbins to keep cords from tangling. There are very clever pop-open plastic bobbins available on fiber art websites, and I strongly suggest either adding them to this kit.
OH....and the carry pouch and disks are wicked cute! Nice graphics! Pretty product produces perfect panache :)))

My 10 year old daughter has entertained herself with this bracelet kit for hours. The materials are well organized and make success easy. The weaving forms are perfect for creating interesting and very wearable bracelets. My daughter especially likes making the bracelets as gifts for her friends. A creative child will come up with many uses for this kit and be able to transfer materials to other projects. And it all comes in a travel-style container to keep it all together. Great!

You will probably need to help your child get started and make sure that they pay attention because you need to go in order, but it makes cute bracelets. My daughter and her friend had fun doing this together. It is tricky to keep track of which section you're on and which thread goes where, but once they get into a groove it's great.

We really like this kit my daugter is eight and needs some help from me, but over all very easy. Even my fourteen year old son likes to make the bracletes. The bracletes take more than one day to complete, but when they are finished they are so beautiful. You can be creative with the colors, and the type of floss you use.
