Beautiful colors and stars, okay sounds
from Cary, NC
My 9 year old daughter wanted a light that projects multiple colors at one time and this was the best one I could find after extensive searching. She received it for Christmas, uses it nightly, and likes it very much.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

We have only had this product 2 weeks and it is not functioning properly. We have only used this product a hand full of times in 2 weeks, we have not used this product every day and the sound recordings fade in and out when we try to use the sleep machine. It is very frustrating that I turn this sound machine on for my newborn and he is suposed to hear constant waves, but when the waves fade out it alerts him back awake. We are returning this produt.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Just ordered a second one

Our daughter is deaf and we needed soothing lights and a noise optional display. The lights change color and do so in a nice pace that help soothe her to sleep. we have used this in the car, on an airplane, in her bedroom and we take it with us when we go on overnight trips. I just ordered another one so we have a backup.

a couple of negatives....
from Charlotte, NC
My daughter enjoyed the "light show" of stars around her bedroom, but one big drawback of this product is that it's LOUD. Even the lowest setting of the 3-setting volume control is still too loud. I wanted to muffle the sound with a pillow, but then she couldn't see the stars on her ceiling. Another thing the website doesn't tell you is that the product turns off after 30 minutes. I may return it, because there are other sound machines that aren't as loud as this one.
Was not sure if this would be worth the money, but it is absolutely worth every penny. Has a nice star display, well lit up on the walls and ceiling, a number of nature sounds, in addition to being able to hook up to a MP3 player. Would definitely purchase again. Great gift idea!!!
