This is fun toy to watch but one side doesn't always light up all the lights, but it lights up enough to still be pretty. We found that it works more consistently if we hold it with the battery compartment facing up. The spinning 'arms' stop quickly and easily if touched by little fingers, so it is not painful. The button is very easy to use with only one hand. All children are mesmerized by this very creative toy!!

We use this product in both of our labs with typically developing children, children with hearing impairment and children with autism, ages 18 months to 6 yrs. They are all fascinated with it. They can play with it themselves too, we do not have to worry that anyone will harm themselves as the swirling parts are made of soft plastic. Many parents ask us where they can purchase one.

This lightshow was a huge hit. My nephew loved it. It is addictive to play with, look at, day or night. (But of course especially at night). I have to be honest and say that it did break very quickly, a wiring issue. My brother is handy so he repaired it himself. Most people would probably return it for an exchange. Although made for a child, it was not designed too sturdy. If your child is very rough with their toys, this may not be for you.

My eight year old grandson loves this toy. It's easy to grasp, turn on, and enjoy the colorful light show. So far, it seems very durable. Even his ten year old sister loves it and now she wants one for herself.

This is a great toy for an autistic child. It entertains them and they learn the motor skill for pushing a botton and moving the hand at the same time.

This double light show is sure to thrill kids in a dark room. I intend to buy more of these for my nephews for x-mas. Only complaint is that I wish we were able to replace lights when they get damaged. My daughter broke her toy when it got dropped on the floor. Now only half of it lights up. Overall, we've had lots of fun with it, though.

Ours broke within a few months-some of the colors do not light up on one end anymore. Otherwise the kids find it fascinating and fun to experiment with in closets, tents, etc.

very fun to look at but kind of overpriced since it doesn't really do anything. still it is a great alternative to unsafe sparklers since it really is bright and changes colors. very easy to hold and it is lightweight too

We LOVE this toy! We bought one for each of our boys for Christmas and I think it was their favorite toy! We're especially glad that we got two, cuz they definitely would've fought over one. They are also priced very reasonably. The lights are beautiful in any light, but especially cool in the dark. This would make a great gift for the kid that has everything, or a fun light to bring to an outdoor evening activity - camping, fourth of July, etc...
It was also very age appropriate for both of our boys, ages 2 (almost 3) and 7. It is very easy to use and manipulate.

As a Grandma, I have all kinds of lighted toys for the grandchildren to play with, when they come to visit. They love it, and go right to it!! The colored lights spin, and make it look awesome. It is so pretty! They do tire of it after a little while, but do love to play with it.
