In 2006, I purchased a pair (2 different designs, older versions of these) to put in a dress-up trunk for my daughter as a Christmas gift. I have such wonderful memories of her flitting around the house in the Monarch wings. She and her best friend loved dressing up in costumes. After 5 years, I've just donated them, so another little girl or pair of girls can enjoy them as well. So they held up well for us! But we didn't have any boys, who might be prone to trying to pluck theses wings!

About Me Grandparent
I was able to see this product, first hand, and I was disappointed. I found it to be cheaply made, flimsy and fit poorly resulting in off-balance wings.A disappointment

About Me Relative aunt
I bought these for my niece's 4th birthday, and she loved them so much! It was a little disappointing when one of the bands broke on the first time trying them, and we had to temporarily fix it with a safety pin. Other than that, the designs were beautiful and the rest of the wings seemed pretty durable. Some of the wings got a little droopy on the younger children under 3 yearrs of age, but they still had loads of fun running around with them. They were able to share and switch wings, so it was a fun present for a group of children to enjoy!
