    First of all, the ball, although foam, is far from soft. It could definitely knock over and break something in the house. The motor for the ball return mechanism is very noisy. The hanger that goes over the door is somewhat flimsy, and is already bent. That said, my son has a lot of fun with this game and loves it. I have a long, narrow hall that he uses it in so he doesn't break anything. I would not buy it to use in a room with anything breakable in it.

      this is a very fun toy to get active.our family loves it when the ball shoots out the bottom and who ever grabs it 1st gets to shoot the next basket.
