        I forgot to mention that the ONLY con to this nightlight is that it sticks out sort of far from the wall. I suppose it gives off more light that way, but I prefer nightlights to fit closer against the outlet.

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

          I have looked everywhere for a beautiful night light for my daugter's room and I finally found it. I bought the Bluebird, and it is even more beautiful lit up! I did replace the enclosed bulb with a white, slightly lower wattage bulb for a dimmer light and it is perfect. It is nice that you can keep it brighter if you wish, though. Many night lights look horrible when lit or are poor quality (and expensive), and this Bluebird is wonderful. Highly recommended!
