    Description

    Blend chemistry and paleontology by covering this adorable dino with a colorful body of crystal spikes! It's easy–just dissolve the crystal powder by stirring vigorously in boiling water (adult supervision, please!), place the dinosaur with the plaster base in the solution, and wait 24 to 48 hours. The liquid solution cools and solidifies to form crystals that are completely unique to each and ever dinosaur model.

    Each kit comes with everything you need to grow scales: crystal powder, a growing container, a stir stick, a plaster base, a dinosaur figure, and instructions. (Just add water!) Adult supervision required throughout process.

      Disappointed our son

      Small dinosaur. Bought two kits for my husband and son to do together. Crystals grew in the container for both and NOT on the dinosaurs. Since both were done with adult supervision, I can't blame not following directions for the failure. Way too expensive for a small kit that may not work. Have loved everything else from Hearthsong in the past. My go to for gifts, etc. Sadly, just not these kits.
