      Not Water Resistant

      I didn't realize this kitchen had to be kept out of the weather until it arrived with instructions to keep it in a covered area written on the outside of the box. I didn't see anything about keeping it covered in the description on the website, and the picture with the kitchen showed kids playing out in the open. Guess since it didn't say the wood was treated should have been a clue. Silly me. Now I have to drag it from a shed, let my grandson play, then wipe it off (dare I hose it off after mud play?), then drag it back. UGH. The only thing harder than dragging it around was putting it together. OMG, you need two strong people and an electric screw driver. In an age when just about everything that comes in a box has pre-drilled holes (the kitchen did not have all the needed holes pre-drilled) and can be put together with an Allen wrench, the mud kitchen is a throw-back to the stone age. On the plus side: I got it on sale for $100, not $249.99 currently listed on the website. For $100, I guess it was worth it.

      Not worth the big price increase

      This things advertised for outside.its not sealed&we sealed ours and the warped. Lots of pieces.a headache to put togther.

      A lot of pieces - very sturdy!

      My husband and I put it together - lots of pieces. I repainted the chalk paint and did the stencils in white chalk paint. My granddaughter loves it and the accessories.
