I bought several of these for my grandchildren. They are really pretty, each with a soft chime inside. The surface is so smooth, they feel almost soft to the touch. I had hoped to have each engraved, but the rounded surface makes engraving rather costly. So, I had initials only engraved on a couple of them. I would definitely recommend and considered buying one for myself.

These will be gifts for my granddaughters. They're beautifully polished, feel good in your hand, and sound wonderful. I'm kind of thinking I should've got one for myself! The only hitch is that I'd hoped to have them engraved, and because of their curved shape our first estimate for engraving was astronomical.

A wonderful keepsake

My granddaughters loved this. I had the hearts engraved with their names at the local jewelry store. Pretty sure that this will be a permanent keepsake for them.
Not what I thought

I was disappointed with this chime. You have to hold it 'just right' to make any kind of chime sound and then it isn't a pretty chime sound at that. It takes quite a bit of effort and is not charming like I thought it would be. Perhaps mine is broken but it's hard to tell.

Great gift for children and adults!

It's like having a windchime of your own to hold and hear whenever you want. It's comfortable in one's hand and the tones are quite lovely. I have purchased several and have given them to adult friends aging 42 to 87, plus as a newborn gift! I own one myself and keep it on my nightstand to use to make "music" while I'm reading. No two sound the same (which can be the only downside because you have no idea what tone each one will have) but it's worth taking the chance. I will definitely be buying more.
