            I purchased this cash box for my son to hold his allowance. Yes, it is small. So he just folds the bills in half. The paint is durable and the color (green) is vibrant. I bought more for my nieces and they can each have a different color (red, pink and purple). Not childish at all. I may borrow it for a garage sale. Will last a long time.

                    We bought a couple of these boxes for our boys nearly 6 years ago when they were 5 and 6 years old. They are now 11 and 12 and they still love them. They are a great place to store allowance or any other small things that a kid wants to keep special. When they were little they used them for imaginative play but now they are just practical places for special things. They are extremely durable and still look and work as though brand new and my guys are very rough and tumble boys. I highly recommend these.

                    This box is very small. It's my own fault for not paying more attention to the dimensions, but I guess I assumed a "cash box" would be big enough to hold cash. The only way a dollar bill will fit in this box is if you fold it in half.
