Comments about Product: Our family has had so much fun with this toy. It's supposed to hold 200lbs, but because of the reviews I only allowed one child at a time to ride inside the ball. I weigh 125lbs and my husband is 200lbs and we each rode in the ball with no problems. Kids can be rough that's why I have the one person rule. We've had the ball for over seven months with no problems and I ordered a second ball today. We have a hill in our yard and the kids love rolling down it. We always supervise when the kids are using the ball, and that is probably the reason it has lasted so long.
Comments about Product: My mother gave this to my son for Christmas, and he and my daughter and friends loved it, loved it, loved it--for the two weeks it stayed inflated. We only used it on a grassy area, and after some fun filled hours rolling around in it, at least seven of the cells began to deflate. I got out the repair kit, and realized there were just too many leaks among the seams for it to work. Too expensive to fall apart like that so soon, and now the world has another huge amount of plastic headed to a landfill. Shame, I wish I'd listed to these other reviews.
Comments about Product: We bought the biggest and best G-Bop Incrediball because the reviews indicated even kids bigger than our 60 lb 10-year old could use it, but ours popped in several places on the first few minutes of use. It took quite a while to inflate, so to be deflated so soon after was depressing
Comments about Product: We have a levee by our house and the ball is alot of fun to get in and roll down the hill. Very sturdy. It was a gift for my 13 year old and she loves rolling down the hill with her friends. My husband, about 160 lbs got in and rolled down the hill a few times. So far it has held up really well. It is worth the money and believe in paying extra for high quality toys.
Comments about Product: I bought this item for my son, who is 65 lbs for Xmas last year. We just took it out of the box a month ago and used it twice- each time about 10 minutes. It has torn apart and the bubbles don't hold the air. When I called to see if they stand behind their product, they said since it was beyond the 90 days, there was nothing they could do, not even a credit! They are not a part of the BBB either which should tell you something!
Comments about Product: I would not get this again. It takes far too long to inflate and deflate. Each cell has it's own air, and each valve has the tab on the inside to stop air from getting back out. So you need an inflator that can push the tab aside. As others said, the cells will sporadically start to leak as well.
Comments about Product: We have had the incred-a-ball about 6 months. My son as well as several friends/relatives have used it lots of times. We have only used ours indoors, so that may be why some people don't think it holds up. I wouldn't try to use it outside because it would likely pop. Only one pocket leaked and I'm sure I could fix it if I took time to find the repair kit. It still works great. The ball is huge! You cannot blow it up by yourself.
Comments about Product: We spent some weekends at the football field and our children have just had a 'ball' with this. Wish we had two to race and play 'bumper balls'. People stopped and watched, took pictures and thought it looked like a blast! My kids giggled there heads off. Soo much fun. Wish the material was thicker as the two of the panels popped after a few uses but it still works fine. We call it our "Human Hampster Ball".
Comments about Product: This breaks within the first couple of hours. The kids loved this until it ripped into a flat mat. It didn't take long and my son is only 40 lbs. It was too expensive to break so easily.
Comments about Product: Pros: Kids love it. My six year old and all of his friends were highly entertained. It was so nice to see something besides Wii and Legos capture their attention with such joy.
Cons: The entertainment was brief. After three outdoor plays, the ball ended up with FIVE leaks along the seams, which we cannot seem to repair. The ball was only used on soft grass, after carefully removing all sharp objects, e.g. sticks and rocks. Didn't matter. Broken. An additional con was the amount of time it took to inflate.
If you are looking for a "one shot" play, this ball fills the bill. Buyers beware: it is NOT durable.
Since it's headed for a landfill, after such a short period of time (Christmas gift), I can only give this toy ONE star.
Comments about Product: My wife bought this as a Christmas present for our kids. She wanted it inflated under the tree on Christmas morning. I started at about 11pm Chrismas Eve and finished at 5am. My cheeks look like Louie Armstrons. One of the cells popped on the 3 try. If your not suicidal this thing will get you there.
Comments about Product: Very time consuming to inflate and some of the areas would not stay inflated. It is not studry enough for kids to play in. Would not roll like others that my grandchildren have played in. NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!! Very dissapointing.
Comments about Product: THIS BALL IS A WONDERFUL IDEA AND WE WERE SOOOOOO EXCITED TO GET IT FOR OUR TWO CHILDREN (AGES 8 & 3)---this was a santa present following several large snowstorms so it was PERFECT for a Christmas morning adventure! Each bubble is blown up seperate so assemby is no problem---and it looks exactly like it should--HUGE and FUN! HOWEVER, even in several feet of snow and only allowing our children in the ball one at a time, etc (we were conscious!)--the ball is now sitting in our yard half deflated because SEVERAL of the bubbles deflated--not sure on what--but it's a HUGE waste of money sitting in my yard collecting rain and debris!!!!! I LOVE Hearthsong products and will continue to purchase from them, but this was undoubtedly the worst purchase EVER!
Comments about Product: I bought this ball as a group gift for my grandchildren. and they loved it. There are 7 of them and each one got an initial turn of about 5 minutes each. Sadly, we found it was necessary to reinflate all but a few cells every other turn. Left alone for the same amount of time it went completely flat except for about 4 cells. We only used it on the grass. This was a huge and expensive flop and we were all disappointed
Comments about Product: This is a great product. The kids just loved playing with it. Big enough for just about anyone to fit into. My grandkids played with it on Christmas Day and loved it. Would work well on snow or grass. The larger you are, the harder it is to keep rolling but still lots of fun.
One drawback. This thing is huge! Your best bet to inflate it is to use a power compressor. Using the air pump that is sold for it would take all day to inflate the ball.
Comments about Product: This may be the best toy I have ever bought! Kids can roll it and go inside. Neighbors stop to look and play. Occasionally it gets a hole, but these have been easily fixed with the patch kit. It took me an hour to inflate the cells using Hearthsong's air pump. Don't even think you can blow this up without that.
Comments about Product: I was concerned when I read some reviews about the ball that stated that the seams were not strong. Our kids have been using it for almost a month, and it seems to be holding up well!
Comments about Product: This ball is the coolest! My 6 and 3 year old love it and have so many different things they do with it! Both of them can fit in it together and they use it as a clubhouse as well! One of the seams started to tear a bit and HearthSong quickly replaced the ball for me without question!
Comments about Product: Its big and durable enough to climb inside. But its too big for indoor use, its hot inside the ball when played with in the sun, and it really does not roll well when a child is in the ball. And that's what the kids wanted to do with it. Smaller kids can fall into one of the two openings and hit their body against the ground.
Comments about Product: My chidlren took turns rolling inside the Incrediball, and loved it--we supervised their playtime to ensure the toy would not be misused. However, two segments began leaking within the first three days of use, and within one week, several segments were separating from each other around both openings.
Comments about Product: We spent more hours inflating this ball than playing with it, because it ripped and leaked within a couple hours of playing in it. The very brief time it was not torn, it was enormously fun. However, within minutes, several cells tore at the seems, other cells began deflating, rendering it useless. You must blow up each cell, which took us several hours. When it was ready for play, we only used it on soft grass. Three small, young girls (not rough housers) were playing with this. All supervised play--no wild behavior. Too bad the ball didn't last. It's so fun that we wish we could give it a good review, but, unfortunately, the GBOP is not worth the trouble or money. We figured our GBOP costs us about a dollar per minute of play.
Comments about Product: This is not something a 11 year old can blow up by themselves. It has many (30 or so) separate sections to blow up. The nozzles are difficult to open and shut. Even with a pump it takes about 1 hour to blow up.
