Hexbugs® Nano

Sorry, product currently not available.
  • add to the wish list
  • The newest addition to our best-selling Hexbugs collection, these high-tech Nanos act (and sound) just like real little bugs. They scurry around, and when they bump into something they turn and go another route. They're a fun, innovative way to teach kids about robotics. Colors will vary.

Great alone or with our Nano Habitat-an insect dwelling with 3 pods, interconnecting rails and half-circles. Pods have built-in gates that open and close, so you can direct the Nanos from room to room.

For ages 3 and up. Sorry, gift wrap not available.

Comments about HearthSong Hexbugs® Nano and Nano Habitat:

This is a great toy that commands attention and gets a lot of imaginative play from my daughter, alone or with friends. The only drawback is that the battery (AG13/LR44) will wear out in a couple weeks of regular play if she doesn't turn them off when done. These batteries are expensive if you buy them in small packs from CVS, Radio Shack, etc., but you can find big packs of 10, 25, 50 or more online. Those might not be as long lasting as the others, but you get more life for less price. A great gift for kids, and I'll be buying additional Nano add on tracks/kits in the future.
