This product does not come with hardware, and need 'professional installation' if you want to put it indoors. I took the product to several hardware stores and all of them said that unless you could get into the attic and secure it with a bolt through a 2x4, they would not recommend hanging it indoors. So if you are thinking about buying it for a kids room - DO NOT!!

My 8 year old daughter uses this for lounging and loves it. It's cozy and feels secluded for her. She did ask if there was a bigger size because it's hard to sit straight up and she is not able to lean back in it because of the teardrop shape. However, this has not prevented her from using it! Unfortunately, we had a problem with the material ripping, which I was told has never been reported as a problem before. However, the WONDERFUL customer service rep assured me that their products are always 100% guaranteed, and we are expecting a replacement any day. My daughter will be thrilled.

I bought this for my 8 year old daughter Christmas 2011. She begged for it! She's the type who is constantly making "forts" with blankets and likes small hang-out spots. I was concerned there weren't any instructions for installation or hardware, but my husband figured it all out OK. We hung it in her bedroom and she loves to sit in it to read, do homework or just hang out. A couple weeks ago we noticed tears in the upper fabric of the hugglepod. We had told our daughter ahead of time not to swing or twist in it, but it's possible some of her friends might have. I called Hearthsong customer service, and they told me they only heard of that happening when children swung or twisted in it. They immediately told me they would send me a new hugglepod and asked me to discard the old one. I was very impressed with that customer service!!! When we install the new one, my husband will include a swiveling carabiner this time so it won't twist. I would definitely recommend this to a friend but make be certain to suggest using a swiveling carabiner during installation.

The hugglepod is so fantastic. Both my kids (4 & 7) love it. It is made of great quality fabric and looks like it will stand the test of time. If you are thinking of buying this product you should read the DETAILS because it DOES NOT include hardware as mentioned. We were able to make a quick trip to the hardware store to get what we needed and hang it up properly.

Daughter was delighted to find that "Santa Claus" left this for her Christmas morning. We haven't been able to get her out of it since. She reads in it, sings in it, watches tv and swings and spins 'til we have to encourage her to do other things. She calls it her little peapod. It's sturdy, adorable and she says very comfortable. The pillow insert that came with it is very fluffy and of great quality. -1 * for lack of hanging hardware. The elves hung it in the living room. What were they thinking? Think it might get a bedroom transfer soon.

Chair itself looks great, but I have no idea what we're going to use to hang it up. Not only is there no hanging mechanism included in the box, but also they give you no information or suggestions on what to use!

I was impressed with the sturdy construction and heavyweight fabric and feel like this will hold up for a while. However, there was no hardware (hooks or chains) included to hang it. You would need to invest in an eye bolt, 2 S hooks(or equivalent)and chain. My only other issue was that when my girls sat in it, the fabric closed in on them so they really weren't able to move much. It needed firm support in the bottom. I ended up cutting a 23" diameter circle from 1/2" plywood, then took 1/2" clear water line split on one side and wrapped it on the outer edges of the wood so it wouldn't tear the fabric. This made a significant difference.

My daughter loves this on Christmas morning, but we are very disappointed to find nothing to hang it with encloed :( For [$] I had hoped this was all inclusive. Guess we'll have to wait until the stores open and will email customer service as well!
