                    But only for an older child. Kit seems pretty complete. My 7 year old daughter wanted to "do magic", so we bought this for her for Christmas. So far it has mostly remained in the box - as good as a reader as she is, the directions are well over her ability to read and understand. Have to admit that even I have trouble trying to figure out how the tricks work! We'll hold on to it until she's a bit older. . . would probably be just fine for a 10-11 year old.

                        My 10 year old daughter really wanted a Magic Kit for Christmas. I purchased A Magic Kit at a department store for about $20. But, when I saw this Kit in the catalog I thought, "If Hearthsong is carrying it, this must be a better quality kit." I always believed that Hearthsong would only carry the best for your money and this cost considerably more at [$]. Besides the fact that this kit has a few extra tricks (only a few), the quality was no better than the $20 kit I purchased first. I should have saved my money.
