I bought these for 33 preschool classrooms. The flashing piece immediately fell out before they were even put into the classrooms. 2 would not light up.We are extrememly disappointed.

Kids love it
from Agawam, MA
Bought two for class prizes and only one worked. Need to get a new battery and try that. One happy kid - the other disappointed.

Great while it lasted
These were big hits with our 5 & 2 1/2 year-old at Christmas! Both were able to make it "walk" the stairs. Unfortunately, both slinkys recently snapped. They still play with the shortened versions and the light insert is used as a campfire with other toys. The box included the lyrics & music for the slinky jingle. My husband learned to play it so we could sing it together!

Pretty but not worth the extra money
Might be better with older kids
For older kids, breaks easily
from Fort Collins, CO
This toy is for someone 8 yrs and up. I bought it for my developmentally disabled son and it broke right away. The light mechanism falls off and doesn't easily stay on. It's a good toy for a child who isn't rough on things, but can be frustrating.
Lasted one day...
By Bummed Mama
from Rochester, NY
The product was great in theory however a three year old boy had it destroyed in 1/2 a day. The plastic material it was made out of was very flimsy.
