Little Potters 2-Speed 2-Direction First Potter's Wheel

  • Little potters can design unique creations with this Pottery Wheel. It's 2-speed, 2-direction and cylinder shape allows for greater control of the clay at various skill levels and can be used by a child who is either right- or left-handed (or both!).

We increased the motor strength to make it more professional. The 2-speeds allow for a faster molding speed and a slower more detailed speed.

The adjustable arm and detail tools will help kids with shaping the air-dry clay into pots, vases, jewelry holders and other great masterpieces.

Includes detailed instructions on how to start.
Can use AC adapter or 4 D batteries.

You're sure to be on a roll-order 4 lbs. of Extra Powder Air-Dry Clay (2 lbs. or terra cotta and 2 lbs. of gray) and a set of 6 Metallic Paints (Gold, Aztec Gold, Antique Gold, Silver, Copper, and Bronze) that add great pizzazz to pots.

    For ages 8 and up.

    Includes:
    • 2 lbs. of clay,
    • 3 Shaping tools
    • 6 paint pots
    • 2 paintbrushes
    • Sponge
    • Foot pedal
    • AC adapter

Comments about HearthSong First Potter's Wheel:

Our 9 year old daughter was really interested in this until she used it. It was hard to use, even with parental help. I recommend taking a class at your community center with a solid, professional potters' wheel.

Comments about HearthSong First Potter's Wheel:

Gave this as a gift to my two young grandchildren. Their mother is always looking for craft projects for the kids to make. They really did enjoy working with their firstpottery wheel. It's a great, fun project for parents to work with their children. I'm glad I found this as a Christmas present.

Comments about HearthSong First Potter's Wheel:

The wheel's quality is fairly good (a lot of plastic pieces). It was easy to use and my kids loved getting their hands in the clay. Great for a creative child to express 3-D art. It was a gift for my 7 yo but my 9 and 3 yo also use it.
            Buy the extra clay!

used to introduce daughter to pottery. lack of power got her frusterated and ended up doing most of the molding by hand

Comments about HearthSong First Potter's Wheel:

My daughter was so excited to make a vase. I told her that her first project might not come out how she wanted it to until she gets used to working with the clay and learns how to use the wheel. Well . . . it came out exactly how she wanted it to and she had a blast making it. Her masterpiece sits on the kitchen table and she can't wait to make another!

My son loved making crafts for mom, but he's eight and still needed some help manipulating the clay while the thing was spinning.
