My kids love this design kit. We also own the fairy design kit, which is equally loved. Keeps the kids busy for hours, sometimes!

Great for young designers

My 11 yr old grand daughter loved this gift. She has been designing since Christmas.

Great Past Time

My grand-daughter started using it the moment she opened the package. She spent several hours with her best friend designing rooms they would like to have for real. The kit encourages the young user to think about the whole design before jumping in and putting things in that don't match. Everything's great about it. I originally got the catalog unsolicited in the mail and I'm glad I did. I know that these gifts will not be duplicated.

Good for multiple ages @ one table

This design kit has all the fun of the fairy kit as far as keeping interest and allowing the child endless design combinations. These drawing kits hold the attention of my children ages 6-11 so it's a great way to gather them together at one table. My only disappointment with the interior design kit is the type of paper the designs are produced on. It's regular copy paper, possibly a little heavier. The fairy design kit has a glossy paper that is much more durable. I definitely prefer the paper with the fairy kit, especially considering the cost of the interior design kit.

Great gift for pre-teens.
