My son (5) liked this project. He esp enjoyed coloring them and watching them shrink. But there are a lot of shrinky dinks to do, so we spread it out over several sessions. As he lost interest, we moved on and came back another day. We displayed the tree on the mantle and he's very proud.

I purchased this last year on clearance, and we did them in September. There are lots of shrinky dinks to do, and the kids (7, 7, and almost 5) had a great time. We asked visitors to do one when they visited, so we could look back and say "Grandpa did this one". I did the cutting and baking, but one of my 7 year olds punched the holes. Only difficulty was assembling the skeleton, because the metal rings provided were not big enough. But there were plenty of extra larger rings, so it was just a matter of picking ones that would fit. I've packed it up for display again next year.

I made it with my five year old and eight year old. They colored them well and had fun watching them in the oven. But some of the directions were unclear.

There are plenty of Shrinky dinks so several children could do this at the same time.
