This was a Christmas gift for my 8 and 4 year old kids. It was awesome for the first couple of days, then sections of it started deflating. The seams of it started leaking air...not sure why ( we weren't hard on it). Now more than half of it is completely flat. Very disappointed kiddos!

I bought this for my 6 year olds birthday. She saw it in a catalogue and wanted it. Despite all the warnings about how hard it was to blow up - I had no idea. It took my husband and I over an hour. After giving it to her and letting her and her sister roll around the deck with it - it started leaking. I called and they are sending me another one. I do have to return the faulty one which in my opinion is a pain in the *ss. The kids do love it even half full of air. They are using it as a cave now. Can't wait to see how it is in the Summer in the yard.

Waste of Money

Reviewed on: 2/3/2013 12:00:00 AM

My kids were so excited when they got this for Christmas. But there are so many issues. First, it took forever to blow up since there are so many differnt sections. But I wouldn't mind that if that was the only problem. We used it for about fifteen minutes before noticing that several of the compartments were leaking. We tried to blow them up again, but now about a third of the compartments won't stay blown up for more than a minute. Such a bummer since it was so fun when it worked!

Fun!

This is a super fun active toy that can be used to encourage all seasons of outdoor play! I will say that blowing it up took over and hour with a basic pump:( Storage is also a concern, since once it is blown up, you're not going to want to ever deflate it. But my kids had a blast getting in and out of it, and even use it to read a book inside with their pillows. Go figure!

Lots of Fun!

As expected, this product did take quite a while to inflate the first time, even with the pump. We were careful not to overinflate. Our three kids (ages 7 to 9) have been using it constantly since X-mas with no issues except needing to inflate a few chambers occasionally. We have only used it inside - probably won't risk taking it outside where it could puncture. The kids say that this ball is so much fun and a great gift!

Using it in basement as now snow has fallen outside. Plan to take it outside to play on grass after snow melts. So far, so good: no punctures, but realistic that it could happen. One son, 10, inflated the entire thing on his own with the help of the pump..took a couple of days of starting and stopping but he said it was definitely worth the wait and work..Every child who comes over loves this toy. Very different than the typical electronic gadget.

I am a youth leader and was looking for some indoor toys for our gym. These balls seemed perfect. They were very time consuming to air up, and the plugs didn't stay closed very well, which meant I had to keep airing them up. Even with being very careful (no shoes, no wild play) they still popped a section on each of the ball.

We did get several holes after using it the first time. Then I took a better look around the yard and found more sticks and small rocks that I removed. Then my husband used scoth tape to repair the holes! It worked very well. The sections have remained inflated. Also it is a fast and easy way to repair. No drying time and no purchasing a repair kit. Plus you can repair as many holes as you need to. We bought it for our daughter's birthday party as an activity for the children. They had a lot of fun with it.

The only thing I dislike about it is the time it takes to blow up. Each and every section of this thing needs to be blown up separately.

Reviewed on: 6/17/2011 12:00:00 AM

I was REALLY excited to give this as a gift to my son for his 3rd birthday. We gave it to him on his birthday which was also the day of his party. It only lasted a couple of hours with him and about 5 cousins and friends playing with it before a seam ripped! I am EXTREMELY disappointed in the quality of the product. There is only an age recommendation on the product description (ex. 3 and up) which is why I got the 36" ball for my son. He only weighs 27 pounds. But the other kids were playing normally with the ball like any kid would and it ripped! I am planning on returning it, but just haven't had time yet. The concept is great, just not the product.

We are about to buy our second ball. The first was so fun/popular with all the neighorhood kids and the Brownies, that it provided countless hours of fun. Because of wear and tear the seams have riped at the doorways, and some of the sections have deflated but it generates a new and different game. They now can stand on top of the ball and play in addition to being inside of the ball. It is expensive, but was well worth the value in play. We deflated it for the hottest part of the summer, but the girls loved squirting water on the person who was inside.....

GBOP - Great Big Outstanding Play!

Reviewed on: 3/4/2011 12:00:00 AM

This is a great product! My grandson and his cousins loved playing with this ball on Christmas Day. It is the perfect size for kids under about 5 foot. Taller/bigger folk need to get the IncrediBall. This ball would be great in the snow or on grass. Good strong plastic construction. One draw back, inflating the ball takes a lot of time. We got the air pumps the company sells and that was a waist of time, money and effort. After a couple hours the ball was barely filled. My husband took the balls to his shop and filled it up with a power compressor very quickly. It was funny watching his pick up truck coming home with an inflated GBOP and IncrediBall in the bed :-)

Didn't get to enjoy it!

Reviewed on: 3/4/2011 12:00:00 AM

As the other reviews I read stated, it took a long long time to inflate. There are countless parts to inflate, one by one. So it took forever to inflate. After the ball was actually inflated, it already had holes in it. Several of the cells got tiny holes from us handling it and inflating it outdoors. So it didn't roll very well when we actually were ready to use it. The positive is that it seems like a fun product. The negative is the quality of the product.

We supervised the fun to make sure noone would abuse it. It was fun for the kids. They would climb and roll. The fun lasted maybe 2 hours and the ball fell apart on the edges. I was worried they would get in and roll down the hill but it doesn't work like that. They have to work to make it move so they are getting exercise and loving it. Our two boys went in without shoes. We played with it for about an hour, having loads of fun, but when we went to play with it again a few days later, there were numerous holes in the plastic - too many to patch.
