    almost a great multi-tool

    The combination of compass, thermometer, mirror, and whistle into one device is handy for kids. The compass works fine. However, the thermometer feature is really sub-par. The temperature gradations are not with round numbers and the tick marks in between numbers are not in easy-to-figure divisions. So it is really difficult to figure out the temperature if it is in between numbers. The calibration is not that great either: we bought 3 of these and they do not give the same reading when sitting together in the same location in our house.

    Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
