Butterfly String Lights with Fiber-Optic Magic, 160 Inch

I decided to purchase these lights due to all the good reviews, however these lights definitely do not look like the picture. The butterflies are smaller and not as open as the picture. I tried to open them up a little more but they would not stay open. I also had to be very careful when trying to open them as the fabric is very flimsy. I am returning the lights. Very disappointed.

I purchased these for my 2 year old daughter to use as a night light. They are absolutely beautiful when hung along the headboard on her toddler bed. HOWEVER, I have returned these lights twice and am about to return the third set already after 2 days. The first 2 sets we got were the butterfly lights and they were actually too bright to start with then after a couple days they got dimmer and were actually at the perfect brightness, however they just kept getting dimmer and after a couple of weeks they were barely lit and a couple even went out completely. Same thing with the second set, then after those went out I decided to try the Peonies as one last effort to see if they would work better. They are worse.. They were the perfect brightness when we first got them but it has only been 2 days and they look like they only have a few days left. I would NOT purchase these until they fix the electrical problem. After reading other reviews I know I am not the only one that has had this problem They also need to put an on/off switch on the cord because it is a pain to have to unplug them every morning. I am returning this third set for good and looking for something elsewhere. I gave them 3 chances so there is obviously a problem with the design. I didn't just get a bad set when it has happened 3 times. Such a disappointment.

Beautiful touch of ambient light. I love butterflies, especially as a decorating theme. The only thing that would make this item perfect is a cut off switch, instead of unplugging the lights to turn off.

Very Pretty. I thought the price was high, but when I saw them light up... it was worth it. I wish it was easier for my daughter to shut off/on. It must be unplugged to shut off and her only plug in is behind the bed :( A timer would be nice, so it could be like a nightlight.

The string lights are perfect for decorating a kid's room. The brightness of the light is just enough, not too dim, not too bright.

I bought 3 sets of these, one for each granddaughter. The 2 year old is delighted with them, even though they must be strung above the window for now. The infants have them on their crib headboards, creating a lovely "nightlight" effect. Eventually, when the girls are all old enough not to fuss with them, they will be placed there permanently.

I put them in my 3 year old daughter's bedroom for a night light. She was so excited to have butterflies that light up. They look beautiful and give just enough light. The cord was long enough to put around her bed, touching the floor, all the way up to her window. The butterflies are a little spaced out and the wings are more closed then I would like them, but they are worth keeping. Very pretty.

The picture on the website doesn't do justice to how beautiful the butterfly lights are. Definitely a good purchase. The length of the light strand is perfect. Our granddaughter is crazy in love with her butterfly lights. She wants to leave them on all the time!
