Product quality seems fine.

Screws required for assembly missing. Front door hinges misaligned. Right front door mounted so low it interfered with attachment of stable floor . Worst part of the design was the roof panels which were designed to be removable but fell off at the slightest touch. Very frustrating to our four year old Grandchild. I Ended up creating a hinge on each of the two roof panels and gluing the lower panel to the stable (two per side). Spent about 4 hrs . driving, shopping for parts, and reassembling. If I had not assembled this on Christmas Eve, I would have returned it. If you were able to purchase this toy for less than half price and have some woodworking skills and tools it might be worth it.

This little bitty barn is sized just right! Your little one will be able to use many brands of animals (schleich, toob, etc.) We have a set of wood Waldorf type animals that work too!

The roof of the barn comes off so little hands can play inside which is really a nice feature. The only downside is that the tabs that hold the roof are not very generous (they are juuust long enough) so putting the roof back on is hard for littles to do by themselves). The tabs could have been smidge longer but overall - not a deal breaker.

The wood is thin but sturdy and the paint/finishes were in perfect condition (there were multiple layers of wrapping and cardboard in the box to separate each part). All you need to put it together is a phillips head screwdriver.

Pros: Easy to put together, great size (not so large you need to devote an entire room but not so small that imaginative play is compromised).

Con: The roof is hard to put back on.

I purchased this barn set as a gift to my toddler. it was not easy to put together and the material was so cheap. it fell apart within the day into seperate pieces. They need to take this off the market and start over. I was very disapointed.
