As the previous reviewer mentioned, I also had a "Zim Zam" when I was a kid and loved it. So when I saw this, I had to have it! I like that it has options for competitive play or free play. My kids have loved it. We took it camping this weekend with a group of 30 people and it seemed it was in almost continuous use. Definitely putting it on the camping list for next year.
We did have to make a modification that I thought I should pass along. The bolt holding the pole to the base on the underside would not stay tight and when it falls out, half the water leaks out of the base. You have to use the washer they provide to form a seal, but we added a locking washer over that which seems to be holding up perfectly. Now the bolt stays tight and we have no leaking water issues. Minor design flaw, but this is still well-worth buying. I even bought one for my sister's kids so she could relive the nostalgia of our old Zim Zam days! I would highly recommend this game, just find someone handy to deal with the bolt issue! I'll try to get some pictures of our modification and add it to my review soon.

I am a grandmother who plays tennis. Practicing on this set prepares me for the court. I practice alone for hours of exercise, confidence on the tennis court and for the FUN of it. My children and grandchildren LOVE it. We take it to the beach, the lake and enjoy it at my home. Years ago ( the 1970's) I got in shape and had fun with my children with a Zim Zam Game. I was distressed when I could not find it on the market anymore. THEN I found the Rotor Spin Game (exactly like Zim Zam)! Buy a replacement ball or two because you WILL wear out the original one because you will use it soooooo much. Hand-eye coordination is very important for youngsters and seniors. This set improves it tremendously. Stay fit! Have fun!! ENJOY!
