Red Toolbox: Not for DIY only

    By Grandma Fun

    from St Louis, Mo.

    Pros

    • Challenging
    • fun

    Cons

      Best Uses

      • Build it and then play

This is perfect for me, a grandma who was looking for a winter activity for her grandchildren: ages 6 and 9. We bought the Red Toolbox Soccer Table and it came with everything you need. We finished putting it together (well, they did most of the work) and it is well-made and held their interest. Since, they have been running to play with it whenever they came to visit! We plan on painting it as another project.

      Woodworking is the key

This is my own fault, but make sure to note that this is a woodworking type of gift. Painting, cutting, assembly etc is required. While it's a fun gift for a hands on 8+ year old, I was hoping for a shipped finished product for my 5 year old to enjoy. Again, my fault for not reading the description in full.
