Comments about Product: I bought this for the students in my special needs middle school classroom. They are all in wheelchairs and have complex physical and medical problems which make it difficult for us to enjoy using the playground facilities at our school. The students have loved being able to swing in the classroom. It is a great size and the ropes give just the right amount of support.
Comments about Product: I was so impressed with this swing. First it was so easy to put together and was even larger than I thought it was going to be. We hung it from a large tree and the kids really feel like they have their own island in the sky!
Comments about Product: Picked this as a Christmas gift for my son (7) and daughter (5) and it has been a big hit. My daughter has significant physical disabilities and what I love about this is that it is big and fun and many kids can be on the swing together, including my daughter. I always love finding things that are fun for "typical kids" to enjoy with her. Over the holidays 4-5 cousins or neighborhood kids would be piled on to it. We were able to set it up in our basement playroom for the winter using the stand. As another reviewer mentioned, it spins more than it swings when it is on the stand but the kids like that alot. The cover was also fun too. And they find ways to climb all over it and invent other uses for it.
Comments about Product: Seems very safe and the kids love it so far! Make sure you have two people and when assembling the swing, make sure each section is thoroughly and snugly connected so the last section is the hardest to connect, but shouldn't be impossible with two adults. We love the cover to protect from the sun and the comfy cushion worth it.
Comments about Product: Bought the entire package for my son's house. My granddaughters love it. Although we also got the tent enclosure, we haven't had a chance to use it yet because of the hot summer we experienced. Very well made and I am sure it will last quite a few years into the future!
Comments about Product: We bought the entire package last fall for our five year old's birthday. Since we don't have any mature trees in our yard the swing with stand was very appealing. However, with the stand you couldn't swing just spin around, and she just kept knocking into the poles. One thing led to another and we ended up building a swing bay and installing a commercial tire swing swivel and now the girls can have a lot of fun. The older one likes to swing high, while the younger one likes to put the hideaway cover on. We will put up some climbing holds on the side and some other options so that we now have our own custom and original play set.
Comments about Product: We purchased just the swing from this and installed it as a tree swing. It's a huge hit. Because it's so big, all the kids can pile in together (there were five of them in today). We used the tree swing attachments sold here and added additional nylon rope to adjust the height as needed. It is very well made and comfortable. Because it is so big, it's a little harder to push them all in it, but they are certainly all happy with it.
Comments about Product: I purchased 2 of these items for grandsons for Easter. These are amazing. The Kids loved them and I think moms and dads wished they just a little smaller LOL. Great gifts for Easter.
Comments about Product: We do not have any trees in our yard and have been wanting a "tire" swing for a long time. We got this one at Christmas and absolutely love it. It is such a nice quality. She loves lying in it with the tent on. And I love that it is sturdy enough for mom or dad to join in on the fun. I highly recommend this! Please make more products with stands for us treeless people!
Comments about Product: The directions appear very easy to put together, but that is NOT the case. Once the 2 halves of the swing are put together (that is the only easy part), then you have to join them together. The instructions say 2 adults and hold the swing and snap those remaining ends into place. It really takes 2 very strong adult men. The carpenter who built the swing set was able to wedge one side against the base and force one side together. Then he turned it around and 2 men forced the final piece in. Once the frame is together, you have to line up the holes in order to get the bolts into place. Use a screw driver to twist the poles until the holes line up. Then you will need an electric drill with a ratchet attachment to actually tighten the bolts. It was very difficult to assemble and my husband and I would not have been able to do it without the help of our carpenter. However, now that it is together, it is AWESOME. My daughter absolutely loves it!
