Based on the original game from the 1920s, this board game sends players dodging snakes and hoping to reach ladders in order to make it to the end first. The vintage-style board comes with four colorful wooden pieces and a wooden die. For two or more players.

Snakes and Ladders originated in India as a game based on morality called Vaikuntapaali or Paramapada Sopanam ("the ladder to salvation"). It dates back as far as the 16th century. The game made its way to Britain in the late 1800s. The ladders represented virtues like generosity, faith, and humility while the snakes represented vices such as anger, murder, and theft.
