I got this so I could get ideas for a scavenger hunt for my daughters sleepover. She's 8. This was perfect. The girls had a blast doing the scavenger hunt. I can reuse it again and again. The only downfall is the cards can easily bend, but it is fixable. Just laminate the cards. Thanks for such a neat product.

Really neat idea. I'm a program director for cub scout day camps as well as a mom of 3. I thought it would be great to have something I didn't have to sit and think about or plan -Just grab and go. I realize now that I will need to add a few things to make it convenient, but more on that in a moment. The cards are plentiful and come in a nice plastic box that is about the size of a large recipe card holder (4x5x6.5). It's flexible plastic, so it won't crack or shatter if bumped or squished. It's also nice that the lid is permanently attached. The cards are easy to read and have 4 clues printed on one side. They are about as thick as an index card- it would be nice to laminate them, but with 150 cards that would take too much time! Just expect rumpled cards after one or two uses. The clues are varied and if you play as they propose with 8 cards, that's a potential 32 items to look for or actions to do. As an adult running the game, I suggest looking through and picking appropriate cards for the kids to choose from. What's missing from the box that I'll add: Since the suggested game time is 30 minutes, it would have been nice to have had a timer included. They are not expensive and at [$] one would expect more than a plastic box and clue cards. Also, a pad of paper and golf-size pencils would have been a no-brainer. Even the cheapest games at the dollar store have those included. I do think the game is bulky for what you get- certainly a smaller box would have been sufficient. BUT, once I add a timer, paper, pencils, a few crayons and plastic grocery bags for collection bags, (which will all fit in the box) it will be nice to have it all in one portable container. Anyone that purchases this game should be aware you will need some supplies that you can easily find around the house.Overall, I feel it was a good purchase. It will definitely save me some brain power.

I've always wanted to have my kids participate in a scavenger hunt, but didn't know how to go about it. This game is great because all the hard work is done for you. There are a lot of good ideas for kids to find. You can use the game as is, or adapt it to fit your time frame, kids' ages, and/or situation.

This is the perfect game for those "I'm Bored" moments. It also makes the perfect game to take on vacation because it is different everytime and kids have to be creative to play. It's also the perfect multi-generational game...great for breaking ice at family reunions.
