Good shared project

My kids were excited by this and the tomato planters. The plants are growing well and began producing fruit right away. Unfortunately we didn't realize exactly how many plants this takes (15 to 30) so were a little short. It sits up nicely when empty so the kids can fill it. I would save placing the plants for much older kids or adults; fingers got easily pinched or plants broken othwerwise. Once it is hung most kids will not be able to reach the top to water the plants, so this is not a good 'building responsibility' gardening project. It is a good day project to set up, and can be used for growth observations.
