This made a beautiful addition to my 3 1/2 year old grand daughters Easter Basket. It is her first piece of "real" jewelry, with the pearl in a silver setting, (with feet and a head that actually move no less!). She was thrilled to put it on, and to wear it the rest of the day, since it matched her pink outfit. I think it would delight any little girl who wants to have a nice piece of jewelry she can show off, and parents don't need to worry about lead content, or other hazards, which is nice. The cord was a little long, so we just untied it and shortened it a little and it was fine. That made it nicer than having to deal with a chain. All in all a very nice gift that both my grand daughter and her parents appreciated.

The pendant is very nice. But the silky ribbon as a chain is hard to tie so that it doesn't come off. We lost the pendant by the necklace falling off. It took hunting for it with my daughter in tears that she lost her necklace. I wish the chain had a clasp so that it is easier to take on and off without it coming apart while you wear it.
