The girls thought it was very pretty in the dark - I put it up on display, using a small, battery operated turntable. Made sure the witch was flying in the correct direction - very festive for Halloween. With no cords, due to it being operated by simple batteries, they can set it anywhere, including in the center of a table.

Will keep it up year round

I ordered this orb on a whim because I thought that it would be a fun Halloween decoration. I also liked the idea that it has an automatic timer so we don't need to think about turning it on and off each day. When it arrived, it was a little bigger than I was expecting but it looks great on my living room table. The light is not too bright and it gives the room a nice ambience. My kids love it, too!

I purchased 2 of these to display inside glass kitchen cabinets. I can hardly wait to use these for halloween! They have a wonderful glow and timer which avoids having to climb onto a step stool to turn them on and off again. They are also large enough to be seen from other rooms.
