Inspired by Waldorf education philosophy and the sheer joy of free play, Bunny Hopkins toys are Handcrafted in the USA, using responsibly sourced, all-natural materials, which are both safe for children and for the environment.

    What's the importance of open-ended play and toys?

    It is through children’s early childhood experiences, when the brain is rapidly developing, that we have the best opportunity to support the development of these critical life skills. Children love play that stimulates their curiosity and allows them to become engrossed in their own imagination and creativity. Open-ended play begins in early childhood when children use objects to learn about the world around them with no guidance or prescription by adults. It offers children the freedom to discover and create and gives the adult insight into children's thinking.

    What does Made in USA mean?

    Bunny Hopkins toys are handmade in the USA. We do not use any non-USA materials or labor, even in the packaging.

    Are you eco-friendly?

    All our products are natural. So, we do not have any plastic footprints. We make our toys out of fast-growing American trees that grow in the Appalachian Mountains. These trees are a renewable resource.

    What about the safety of your products?

    Our products meet or exceed the CPSIA (Consumer Protection Safety Improvement Act), standards set by the CPSC Consumer Product Safety Commission and ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) and EN71/3 safety requirements.To keep everyone honest, we third-party test all our products. You would have the peace of mind of buying a product which is certified to be non-toxic and made with sustainably sourced raw materials with highest quality parameters.

      Heirloom quality, built to last. Beautiful! I chose this particular balance board over other less expensive options because of the care given to using safe, high quality materials. As I expected the quality is perfect and just what I was hoping for. It is great for encouraging creative play and so fun to see how my daughter reinvents and uses it. It arrived quickly as well! I have already recommended it to five moms and they've purchased it from this place too!
