Wooden Dollhouse with Turntable

My 3.5 year old barely paid attention to this Christmas morning. I was quite disappointed until we settled down that evening and she finally had some time to play with it by herself. She declared at bedtime it was her favorite toy and has continued to play with it every day. A few notes for a smaller kid - the house is quite tall but also too low. I had it on my coffee table for a few days but she couldn't reach the top at all. Now that it's in the floor she doesn't use the bottom level much. I plan to put it on its own table to get it maybe a foot off the floor. Assembly was really simple. Everything fit together perfectly. It's pretty big but not terribly heavy so I can carry it to different rooms in the house if I need to. It has about 12 rooms the way we've set it up. It is perfect for calico critters! The wooden furniture is just alright. The assortment is pretty random. You get two bathrooms but only one toilet. There's no kitchen sink. My daughter is too little to care about incomplete rooms but it bugs me. It would have been smarter and more cost effective in the long run to get what I want her to have in the first place. It's really just so adorable and perfect and the open concept allows for some much creativity. Some of the room dividers aren't big enough though which makes some of the rooms a little useless. So there's not enough wall to put a bed in it but you could put a little desk maybe or a piano. Again though my daughter doesn't care and she is completely…
